Ranzie Anthony
Creative Director, Tonic
Ranzie is both Founder and Creative Director of digital creative agency, Tonic. Starting his career at award-winning digital group Deepend, Ranzie continues to work with clients helping transform marketing objectives into award-winning digital campaigns. He is an active member of several creative organizations including the British Design & Art Direction, Art Directors Club of Europe and represents digital on the UK Typographic Circle. He lectures at several art colleges and frequently judges both the Student and Interactive Media awards.

Sara Bingham
Learning & Technology Manager, Ufi/learndirect
Sara Bingham is the Learning and Technology Manager for Ufi/learndirect, a major contributor to the Government’s e-Strategy, successfully using a fully personalised learning model to reach over 300,000 learners a year.
Sara has worked in the e-learning industry for over 15 years, working for much of this time as a Learning Designer. In 2003 Sara moved to Ufi/learndirect and since then has worked with the Home Office to design and develop the Life in the UK Test for citizenship and has headed up an internal Standards Team looking at how to support commissioning managers and framework suppliers in the design and development of e-learning. Sara’s current role looks at how emerging technology can be utilised to improve the quality and effectiveness of the learning delivered.

Ryan Carson is the Co-Founder of Carsonified.com, a UK-based company that is passionate about the web. Ben Clapp
Creative Director, Tribal DDB
Ben joined Tribal in 2001 from Springer and Jacoby, Hamburg. He became senior creative on Tribal DDB's Volkswagen, Guardian and TUI accounts, then took over as Creative Director in Spring 2004.
Since his appointment Tribal DDB London has added Philips, Marmite, Domestos, Harvey Nichols, GlaxoSmithKline and Unilever to its client list. Clapp has picked up trophies at all of the major awards, this year winning Epica for Guardian, a Gold Lion at Cannes for Monopoly Live and 4 IPA Effectiveness Awards for Monopoly Live and Golf GTI.
Ben sits on juries for IAB, Campaign, Art Director's Club, Eurobest and the OneShow.

Paul Dawson
Head of Interactive Media, Conchango
Paul is responsible for interactive design and branding, customer experience and online marketing for Conchango’s clients. This involves leading a team of experts from product to kiosk designers and from ergonomics to product psychology.
During Paul’s time at Conchango, he has been pivotal to establishing Conchango as the leading design agency in Europe (according to Forrester research). Conchango is recognised for its digital design and corresponding brand-positioning and integrated web capabilities.
Paul works with both cutting edge technologies like Silverlight, but also in rich internet applications generally, and clients include: Virgin Atlantic, Tesco and HMV. Other high profile launches led by Paul in the past included Nectar’s website. Nectar became a landmark because it was the biggest consumer brand launch that went from reaching 0 to 50 million households.
Paul is excited about and tracking new web usage trends. He believes that because of changing online demographics and differentiated user experiences, it is more important than ever to be able to use different user interface paradigms and different development toolkits from Microsoft, enabling Conchango to create innovative applications, that go beyond the browser.
Paul has recently been speaking at conferences throughout Europe and the US on the topics of total experience design, user centred design, and on how media reading experiences can be delivered digitally.
Before joining Conchango in 1999, Paul started in ‘multimedia’ in 1996, on CD-Rom and early internet projects, launching sites for Cellnet, Scottish Widows, Richer Sounds and others.

Tom Evans
Creative Director, Mook
Creative Director and co-founder of Mook. Graduating from The London College of Printing in 1998 with a BA (Hons) in Graphic and Media Design, went on to specialise in digital from the outset. I started my career in 1996 at one of the UK’s first interactive specialists, AMX Digital, under renowned graphic designer Professor Malcolm Garrett. At AMX I created pioneering digital media for clients including Guinness, Warner Music and Pepsi. Moving to AMX spin off The iGroup as Head of Interactive Design in 1998 he built a thriving digital team, re-branded The Sun’s ISP and oversaw creative digital work for clients including Laura Ashley and Group 4. Whilst at The iGroup I met Roger Thelwell and Tom Adams, my Mook co-founders. Mook was formed in 1999 and quickly became one of the UK’s leading digital agencies, carving out a strong creative reputation in the youth and entertainment categories. Mook became part of the Nitro group in early 2006. I am an award-winning creative director with over 10 years’ industry experience, my creative highlights at Mook include a BAFTA nomination for work on The Sunday Times, an Adobe Y Design Award for PlayStation, several BIMA nominations, over 25 projects for MTV and countless digital campaigns for PlayStation, Diesel and Channel 4. Other clients include BBC, Peroni, Virgin, Sport England and the COI. I am a regular speaker in the digital industry and a judge for the D&AD and BIMA awards.

Daren Forsyth

Daren Forsyth
Senior Manager - BBC Business Development
Daren Forsyth began his career within the UK New Media sector in 1996 when he founded Fernhart New Media, a multiple award winning Internet and Digital Television creative and technical services agency.
During his ten year tenure at Fernhart, Daren secured media industry major clients including BBC, BSkyB, Channel 4, ITV and Virgin Radio. Fernhart was the first British based agency to launch an e-commerce system on TV for its client Domino’s Pizza PLC. Daren sold the Fernhart business as an ongoing concern in September 2005.
Daren was a regular commentator and opinion maker for leading trade publications within the UK New Media industry and was recognised by the Department of Trade and Industry in the UK as a “Top 100 Internet Pioneer of the First Internet Decade” at an official ceremony in 2004.
Daren’s new role at the BBC is to create meaningful relationships and partnerships with commercial industry but with a strong focus on technology companies. His first partnerships agreed on behalf of the BBC have been with Microsoft and IBM.

Tamara Gillan
MD, SPF 15 Ltd
SPF 15’s Tamara Gillan is herself a former BIMA Award winner. Most recently, SPF 15 won the 2007 Revolution Award for Best Integrated Campaign, for its ‘Superdrug Summer’ campaign — also short-listed for both the 2006 BIMA Best Integrated Campaign Award and the 2007 Marketing Society Awards for Excellence.
As a Women of the Future 2006 nominee, Tamara was one of 35 listed as “an inspirational group of young women achieving remarkable things,” making a difference to Britain’s future.
She has been interviewed, quoted and published everywhere from The Guardian to Cosmopolitan and appears often in the marketing press. In regular demand as an expert speaker on marketing topics, Tamara will be taking the stage at the 2007 Everywoman National Conference.
As a BIMA Awards judge, Tamara Gillan brings experience, understanding, clarity of thought and perception and detailed insight into every aspect of interactive marketing.

Tanya Goodin
CEO, Tamar
Tanya studied English at Oxford University, then worked for JWT (now part of WPP) and was subsequently Publishing Director of Campaign magazine before setting up Tamar in 1995. The same year Amazon was launched and 3 years before Google, Tanya launched Tamar at the very birth of the internet and was an early identifier (in 1997) of a huge opportunity within the digital industry – i.e. search engine optimization. Due to Tanya’s leadership and direction, Tamar has grown significantly in the last 12 years and now has over 30 clients within the financial services, retail and travel industries with offices in London and Cape Town. Tamar’s areas of expertise include SEO, social media, mobile search and website design & build.
Tanya is well respected in the new media world. She was a finalist in the ‘ 2007 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year ' Awards and has been selected as a woman of achievement, in recognition of Tamar's charitable work in South Africa, to attend the ‘2007 Woman of the Year Lunch'.

Brendan Hamley
Head Designer - Electronic Channels, Nationwide Building Society
Brendan Hamley currently leads the design team within the e-channels area of the Nationwide Building Society. He and his team are the designers behind a diverse range of quietly innovative web-based self service solutions, including the UK's first Internet Bank and Europe's first PDA banking service. He has been involved with design for the internet since 1995. A long term advocate of inclusive design, Brendan is also enthusisatic about representing the interests of in-house design teams working within a corporate environment.

Craig Hill
Chairman, Digital Outlook
Craig is Chairman of Digital Outlook, an award-winning online marketing and production company specialising in entertainment and media. Before joining Digital Outlook in 2003 Craig was on the board of Wheel Group, the largest digital marketing and consultancy business in the UK at that time, and previously founder and Managing Director of Foresight New Media, a pioneering Internet marketing business, which maintained a position in the top 10 UK Online Marketing businesses from 1995-2001. Craig worked with Apple and related businesses throughout the early 80's when the Macintosh was introduced, then in the developing Unix systems market until 1990, and then for five years as European Marketing Director for SuperMac, a Silicon Valley pioneer of Digital Video technologies. A common thread throughout Craig's working life, from the early days introducing the mouse driven Macintosh to Digital Outlook today, has been understanding and developing the way people use new technologies in creative environments.

David Hurren
Executive Creative Director, LBi
David Hurren is the Executive Creative Director at LBi (UK).
He has worked in London’s creative industry since 1989, in a range of high profile brand design and advertising agencies including Ogilvy Interactive, Joshua, Framfab and currently LBi.
David leads a creative team of 60, working across a wide range of award-winning clients including Sony Playstation, P&G, BT, Orange, Canon, Chesterfield and Royal Bank of Scotland.
He has won over 20 industry awards, including world medals and Best of Show at both the New York Festivals and EMMAs for clients such as IBM, Sony, Nestle and Orange. In 2001 he was nominated in Campaigns ‘Hottest 10 New Media Creatives’ and regularly speaks at industry events.
He lives in London with his partner and children.

Richard Ogley
Creative Director, BSkyB
Richard has 12 years experience within the design industry. Having previous worked with the BBC and Saatchi & Saatchi his experience spans creative design for print, cd-rom and web development. Since joining Sky in 1999 Richard has become design consultant across many high profile internal and external projects, delivering interactive services for Sky Games, Sky Active, Sky Bet, Ladbrokes, Halifax, Dixons and The National Lottery. He specialises in user centric design and navigation to deliver innovative user-focussed solutions. Richard was recently promoted and is currently acting Creative Director for Sky’s internal Interactive Media Design Agency.

Jon Sharpe
Creative Director and Chief Executive, Play
Jon studied English at King's College London and Education at Cambridge University before beginning his career in interactive advertising in the mid-90s. After cutting his teeth conceiving campaigns for brands including Virgin and United International Pictures, Jon joined Agency.com in 1999 where he was appointed Digital Marketing Director.
Jon went on to found the London office of Itraffic in 2001 where he spent four years leading a multi-disciplinary team and delivering award winning campaigns for brands including British Airways, Heineken, Wanadoo and NSPCC. In 2005, Jon co-founded Play with M&C Saatchi and former Itraffic colleagues Matt Gorzkowski and Ethan Segal. In the past year, Jon’s work has been awarded by bodies as diverse as Campaign, Revolution, The IAB and BIMA and he regularly features as a judge on various industry awards panels.

Phil co-founded Preloaded 7 years ago during which time it has grown to become an internationally recognised digital-agency. He has hands-on experience of developing award-winning projects as well as up-to-date working knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best-practices.
He has judged awards internationally for several years, co-runs linkdup.com and speaks regularly on the subjects of digital design and game development.
