Information Architects at Conchango work with User Experience Consultants to define the user interface – how it is structured, the content it will present, its functionality and the interactions within it.

You will join a team of highly motivated and dynamic professionals. You will be exposed to a variety of the world’s leading brands. You will work in a vibrant studio and face to face with your clients. Your role

As an Information architect you will be required to:

- Create conceptual diagrams to illustrate the outputs of planning and user experience design
- Design and maintain site maps, interaction flows, storyboards and page/screen schematics/wireframes
- Develop comprehensive content taxonomies, including establishing intuitive hierarchies and categorisations
- Scope or factor in non displayed information e.g. metadata, whether created by the business or by users
- Maintain detailed functional specifications
- Creation of prototypes, appropriate to each stage of the design process
- Contribute to user testing – definition (selection via screeners, questionnaires, scripts) and interpretation (reporting)
- Work in close collaboration with the Insight team, User Experience Architects, visual designers, interface developers, technical developers and project managers


Essential Qualifications and Experience

- A relevant Degree or Higher Education qualification
- Dedicated experience in information architecture and interaction design for web sites
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates some or all of the required outputs suggested above
- An ability to balance the needs of users against business and technical requirements
- The ability to isolate, prioritise and solve user experience challenges
- An good ability to communicate ideas, internally and client-facing
- Proven experience of working in collaborative teams, across design and technology
- A strong appreciation for technical constraints around webs development
- Working knowledge of usability and Accessibility in interface design
