As a hands-on senior designer and creative leader, you will play a key role in growing the design portfolio of New Initiatives and NDS with projects ranging from new and innovative forms of user experience to design concepts for future consumer devices.You will demonstrate an appreciation and understanding of User Experience and Interface design at an advanced level.
You will have excellent brainstorming and conceptual skills, with the hands-on ability to direct and execute a design from the idea to prototype. You must be a seasoned professional who people can aspire to, looking to make a difference and to drive the creative vision forward.
Responsibilities / Duties
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
? Develop and deliver the interaction design elements of cutting -edge, motion-orientated 2' and 10' user experiences for a recently-initiated internet-based TV project
? To conceptualize and blue-print future consumer device concepts within the domain of home and/or mobile entertainment
? To work with internal development, marketing and project management teams to successfully deliver complex design projects
Essential Skills & Experience:
? Solid, recent hands-on experience of UI and product design within a new media, CE or broadcast field
? Track-record of being a 'stand-out' in their field, having contributed significantly to successful and innovative interactive initiatives demonstrable through a portfolio of work and hands-on experience.
? An ability to brainstorm new ideas and concepts
? Able to communicate a strong personal vision for how technology and design can be mobilized to create usable, extensible, accessible and gratifying user experiences.
? In-depth and current experience of design software (Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, 3DS Max)
? Proven track record of leading the design process within a creative team.
? Experience of working with software development teams including a thorough understanding of the technical and practical issues of implementation
