Company Overview:

Torchbox specialises in user experience design, website development and software engineering for socially progressive and environmentally responsible organisations. Most often, but not exclusively, these are large NGOs, charities, educational institutions, think tanks, and public sector organisations.

We aim to work with individuals and organisations that share our commitment to ethical, responsible business practice, social justice and environmental sustainability.

Our services include digital strategy, research, user experience, design, web development, software engineering, integration, performance optimisation, video, animation, illustration, search, social, digital marketing and training. Our core technologies include the open source Drupal CMS and Django Python development framework.

Our clients include the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, WWF UK, Oxfam UK, Greenpeace UK, ActionAid, ONE, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, The King’s Fund, the Nuffield Trust, Asthma UK, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the Football Foundation, Yahoo!, Samsung, and the University of Oxford.
