Article Date: 25th Nov 2011
Fortune Cookie are celebrating a win in the automotive category at the BIMA awards for their pioneering work with Microsoft’s latest technologies for Trader Media Group.
The CEO of Fortune Cookie, Justin Cooke, was delighted to collect the award on behalf of the agency at the 2010 BIMA Awards held in London on 25th November, attended by the digital industry’s leading figures, agencies and brands. The Trader Connect application allows Trader Media Group’s customers to conduct their sales activity more efficiently and effectively through this vital automotive channel delivering a win-win commercial partnership for car dealers and TMG alike.
Trader Media Group provide market leading automotive classified websites and produce over 70 leading classified titles. Marketing Director Kevin Petley was delighted at the news. "As a business, TMG prides itself on the way it works with its customers and the development of Trader Connect was no exception. By understanding what our advertisers needed we were able to take the pain out of one of their core daily tasks of uploading stock, accelerating adoption and increasing our value proposition. In partnering with Fortune Cookie, we were able to take this cutting edge technology to the uninitiated dealer forecourt, improving the quality of their advertising and increasing advertiser ROI - important in a competitive landscape. We are very proud of what we have achieved and very pleased in the way our relationship with Fortune Cookie has developed, thereby enabling this success."
Established in 1997, Fortune Cookie is one of the fastest growing media companies in Europe. No strangers to award nominations, they are on a run of over 40 in just the last 24 months. In addition to winning best automotive award for the Trader Connect project, Fortune Cookie was shortlisted for a record breaking seven BIMA awards for its work with comparethemarket.com, National Rail Enquiries, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Lawn Tennis Association, and Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
