Member News: Crumpled Dog Wins National Accident Helpline Advertising Campaign
Article Date: 10th Jul 2009
Shoreditch based design consultancy Crumpled Dog have been commissioned to design and implement a digital advertising campaign on behalf of no win no fee specialists, the National Accident Helpline.
The challenge set by the NAH and their online acquisition agency Atom42 was to create an innovative campaign that is engaging, modern and intelligently targeted to the specific market.
Crumpled Dog wanted to develop a set of ads that ticked all the boxes for the National Accident Helpline, as well as take it in a fresh creative direction. Christian Stanley, director of Crumpled Dog says, "Our illustrative, animated approach will both appeal to those who need the NAH services and push the market’s expectations for digital banner content”.
The campaign consists of a series of 3 animated adverts; the first initial 12 second ad sees an unhappy injured character realizing that he may be able to claim for a recent injury. The subsequent ads are accident specific; focusing on car and work environments. Together the 3 will create a striking campaign which, whilst appealing in its treatments is capable of getting across a serious message.
The first ad is currently live across various pages on Yahoo and GMTV, with the other 2 ads hot on its heels to be launched by mid July.
