BIMA 100

The BIMA 100 celebrates the people who are shaping the British digital industry. They are the thought leaders, changemakers, disruptors and pioneers. They’re established figures within the industry who continue to change and influence their sector. And they’re ‘ones to watch’ – new innovators in their chosen digital space who are making everyone else sit up and take notice.

Each year, the people who comprise the BIMA 100 are people who have created a ‘wow’ factor. They’ve gone above and beyond the norm. They’ve challenged convention. Or they’ve given us a unique approach to age-old challenges.

Ardy Danielewicz

Founder and Partner at M&C Saatchi Accelerator

Ardy doesn't fit the mould of advertising.

Politely doing what clients ask has never been his style.

His approach is lateral, even asymmetric.

He asks too many questions.

And pushes hard when the answers are weak.

But entrepreneurs like Ardy fundamentally don't fit in the mainstream.

They hunt for opportunities at the margins.

Opportunities like using tech to: make ads, talk to clients and (god forbid) even make advertising profitable.

If opportunity is found at the margins, Ardy proudly sits there.

Having launched M&C Saatchi Accelerator, he works everyday to find new ways to grow the tech-enabled businesses of tomorrow.

Think of him as a hunter of opportunity, whose digital tools are as disruptive as his questions.

Will Cookson

Creative Director

Will Cookson is on a mission to bring to life digital ideas, products and services that he thinks should exist. Last year he designed Skyjacker, an augmented-reality iOS game using real-time flight data, because airplane geeks would love it. Previously Will co-founded Believe.in, a software platform to help charities connect with donors, raise funds and increase awareness of their causes. He also built Bookindy, a chrome extension that compares local bookshop prices whilst browsing Amazon.

Will has 15 years’ agency experience at R/GA, Wieden+Kennedy, Razorfish, Poke and AKQA and has received a number of awards for his work.

Some people call him Dogg.

Zoltan Vass

Co-Founder and CEO at  CoderDog

‘We don’t want to work for you, we want to work with you.’

This is the motto that Zoltan Vass lives and works by. And it’s been critical to the growth of CoderDog. His success is based on developing businesses by developing strong relationships – with clients, with suppliers and within his own agency.

To get results he breaks down barriers and builds bridges across teams (and between them). Attentiveness, curiosity, innovation, transparent communication and collaboration are the cornerstones of his approach. These are the values that make and create lasting relationships. These are the values Zoltan uses to develop businesses – and the people within them.
