Why is everyone talking about Headless?

Over the past few years terms like headless and decoupled content have begun to get digital marketers rather excited. Some would even go as far as say they are becoming buzzwords with people having little understanding of what they mean and how they can be used properly.

Dave Moore, Lead Architect at Kagool, has been working on headless projects for years and would like to clear some of the air around what the terms mean.
