BIMA Beat: It’s your creative showcase

 

Whatever your role in digital is, the challenge is always the same. How do you reach a bigger audience? Show what you’re capable of? Get your foot in the door, spark fresh thinking or open up new collaborations?

 

That’s what BIMA Beat is all about. 

 

  • It’s a platform for digital creatives to showcase their work

  • It’s got clout - because it’s driven by BIMA Creative Council, Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative and Spotify

  • It builds reputations – every quarter there’s the chance to make the final selection or be crowned the quarter’s winner by some of the best in the business. 

  • It’s a safe, rewarding space – we launched BIMA Beat to support and galvanise the UK digital creativity community, so taking part is all about the positives

Calling all creators.

 

BIMA Beat is a showcase of UK digital creativity. Open to all, it will showcase inspirational, digital first work, from those at the very start of their career to big brand projects to grassroots initiatives.  The project has been set up by the BIMA Creative Council, Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative and Spotify, as a means to support and galvanise the UK digital creativity community. 
 
How does it work?

 

We've worked hard to make this as simple and without limitation as possible. Submit your work year round, have it reviewed by our esteemed Creative Council each quarter (a very impressive group indeed) and watch out on Insta to see if you've made the final selection. Finally attend the regular event to celebrate the overall winner, hear from the council and their collaborators and meet fellow creators.

What to enter?

 

We're looking for work in any digital medium including connected products, work in beta and personal projects. All we ask for is that the central idea is a digital one, that it is fully formed and all stakeholders have given permission to submit. It could be a campaign, a piece of content, an app, a game, an experience, all of those rolled into one and everything in between. Surprise us. The theme for this quarter is 'Reimagine' so the Council are looking specifically for work that represents new ways of doing things or that might redefine what we already know and love.

4. Selected work will be showcased at our next event. Date TBC.

And remember...

1. Work could be an initial proof of concept through to a commissioned piece of work
2. Submissions are open to all. We would like to encourage work from students to agency and in-house creatives and individual makers
3. Submissions must be the work of UK based companies/individuals
4. All work will be judged by BIMA's Creative Council
5. It is essential that the work is your own and that all stakeholders have given permission
