A TRCmedia two day workshop for Scottish digital companies: 5th and 6th March 2018. Glasgow City Centre

The Asia Pacific region is home to the world’s fastest growing economies, with a wealth of opportunities for Scottish digital companies. In this two-day workshop we’ll explore why your company could consider Asia as a place for partnership, investment and sales and arm you with the knowledge and intelligence necessary to make your business’ ambitions in Asia a reality.

Look East will be led by UK entrepreneur Hugh Mason, Co-founder and CEO of JDFI, Southeast Asia’s first accelerator program for tech startups. Hugh moved to Singapore ten years ago and has since helped over 70 businesses raise tens of millions of dollars.

This practical workshop aims to provide delegates with knowledge of the benefits of doing business in Asia, as well as the risks involved. You’ll learn how your business looks to potential Asian collaborators and work to devise a plan of action for ‘looking East’. The outcome of the two days is to leave participants with a clear map of the next steps for doing business in Asia.

Look East is open to established and startup Scottish companies in the digital and technology sector who are interested in exploring opportunities in Asia.

Training will take place in Glasgow City Centre. Lunch will be provided.

Look East is funded by our partners Scottish Enterprise, Creative Scotland, BBC and Channel 4. Delegate fee: £150.
