Event info
22 Nov 2018
Central London Restaurant (Venue TBC)

Join a roundtable discussion with BIMA’s Data council led by our Chair Anna Gevorgyan, Senior Director of Strategy and Operational Excellence at Expedia.

The council has been formed for the purpose of improving data standards, enhancing data’s profile within the industry and focusing on key growth topics such as personalisation.

More about the Council:

Despite its profile and value, many businesses are still at the outset of their journey with data – a journey that can be hindered by limited capabilities, limited understanding and a shortage of new talent.

By connecting key specialists, enhancing partnerships and identifying cross-agency thought leadership, BIMA’s Data Council is working to improve data skills and standards, enhance data’s profile within the industry, and focus on key growth topics such as personalisation.

If you could add to the knowledge pool and the debate, we’d love you to join us to explore that the councils mission and objectives will be and how the council can provide value to the BIMA community.

If would like to come along, please email davidbutcher@bima.co.uk.

Your data is important to us and we're committed to protecting it. We have updated our policy to make it easy for you to understand your choices and the control you have over your data. Please review here.

BIMA is Britain’s digital community. Our mission is to drive innovation and excellence across the digital industry. We are the connectors, thought leaders, champions and change makers determining the shape of Britain’s digital economy. Our strength is in our structure. We are powerful because our members make us so. BIMA councils set the agenda in digital hubs around the country and our Think Tanks aid industry leaders and practitioners to fuel the future. Our communities underpin everything that we do. Everything we do embodies our values of innovation, enabling community, celebrating individuals and embedding diversity into our digital ecosystem. BIMA is run by the industry, for the industry. Our independence and not-for-profit status means everything we do is for the good of our members and the industry, and it gives Government and the media confidence in our integrity. We were founded in 1985 and are proud that we were the first digital industry body anywhere in the world.
